John Rhoderick

Director of Water Protection Division of New Mexico Environment Department

7 December 2023

Jeff Mosher from Riverside, California will be our featured speaker at the September 22 meeting of the New Mexico Desalination Association.

As General Manager, Jeff oversees the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority's (SAWPA) efforts to develop regional plans, programs, and projects that protect the Santa Ana River basin water resources to maximize beneficial uses within the watershed in an economically and environmentally responsible manner. One key program is SAWPA’s Inland Empire Brine Line, which has become an economic-growth engine for inland California, allowing clean disposal of brackish water discharge from industry and utilities, ranging from groundwater desalters to food processors to power plants.

Before SAWPA, Jeff enjoyed a distinguished career as a technical leader and advisor at several notable companies over the years, including: SAIC, WateReuse and the WateReuse Foundation, the Water Research Institute, Carollo Engineers, and the Water Research Foundation.  He received his BS in chemistry from William & Mary University and his Master of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from The George Washington University.
